About Amit Masand, M.D.
Dr. Masand is a lifelong resident of Dallas, TX, which is where he was born and raised. He finished his undergraduate degree at Austin College and went on to medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He also completed a residency and fellowship in a medical center in Dallas. His expertise includes advanced non-invasive endoscopic procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, and advanced biliary procedures, including ERCP.

I have a great experience with Dr.Masand. I had to wait a little while to get an appointment, but it was worth it. He spent a lot of time with me and asked a lot of questions. He talked through initial thoughts and next steps and then gave me an overview of what might come later on down the road. He was very knowledgeable and kind and Inwiuld definitely recommend him.
I always have a good experience at Digestive Health Associates. Lovely office surroundings and the entire office staff is friendly and efficient. The nurses and PA’s are knowledgeable and well trained. Dr Masand is an excellent doctor with a pleasing and patient manner. I always feel that he takes time to listen to my concerns and addresses each one thoroughly. I never feel rushed and never leave with unanswered questions. I highly recommend Dr. Masand to anyone who needs a gastroenterologist.
