About Us

We are physicians. Healers. Next-door neighbors. Some of us are hikers, charity volunteers, churchgoers, educators, and even musicians. We listen to our patients and we care about your overall health. From North Richland Hills to McKinney, with offices in between—DHAT is your leader in digestive health.

In 2020, DHAT became part of GI Alliance, the largest, Patient-Focused, Physician-Led Gastroenterology practice in the United States. DHAT joined the GI Alliance practice as a way to improve the quality of care and opportunities for their patients. By being part of the largest gastroenterology practice in the United States, DHAT patients now have access to more cutting edge services, clinical trials and resources than ever before.

Additionally, the culture of GI Alliance was a perfect match for DHAT in that both are led by like-minded physicians that have a “patient first” attitude. Alert: Phone Scam Warning

We’re seeing an increase in phone scams targeting patients. Callers may pose as Medicare, your doctor’s office, or another healthcare provider to obtain your Medicare number or other personal information.

Please remember:

  • Never share your Medicare number, Social Security number, or banking information with unsolicited callers.
  • Medicare will never call you unexpectedly to request your number or personal details.
  • Be wary of offers for “free” medical equipment or services in exchange for your Medicare information.
  • If a call seems suspicious, hang up and contact the clinic where you receive care directly using the phone number listed on our website for that location.

To report a suspicious call: Call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) or visit reportfraud.ftc.gov.
