"The front desk personal greet everyone who enters the office with an enthusiastic, friendly greeting and makes them feel welcome and special. Not all practices have such great front desk staff. That attitude carries over into the back office, as well. I was greeted warmly by the medtech and by Debra Hudson and treated as if I was the most important patient in the office. However, things broke down after I left. The orders for my CT scan did not get relayed to the imaging company until I called them a couple of days later wondering why they hadn’t called me. When they told me they hadn’t received the order I called your office to find out what happened and was told “we will “resend” the order.” I asked how they could resend an order they had never sent and the person simply restated “we will resend the order”. No explanation and no apology. This disappointed me because of the good experience I had with everyone in the office."

"I’m so thankful I ended up in Dr. Kankanala’s office. I was turned away by another GI for not having a GP referral even though my insurance doesn’t require one. But because he saw me, he discovered my colon cancer. I don’t want to think about how much more time would have passed had he not taken me as a patient. Also the staff here is amazing. The nurses are wonderful and Susan the office manager went above and beyond helping me making sure all my records got where they needed as very quickly I had to see a surgeon and oncologist. I will recommend this practice to anyone needing a caring GI. Thanks Dr. Kankanala for listening to my concerns and handling things so quickly. Forever grateful for this practice."

"My daughter has been going to Dr. Jack An since she was about 5 months old. On first appointment, he diagnosed our baby with feeding aversion and GERD within 5 mins of us giving him our daughter’s history. None of the other pediatricians we went to could figure out that she has feeding aversion. Safe to say, Dr, An has been a lifesaver! We recently went to him again for a consult because our daughter (who is 2 now) is underweight. Dr. An is not only a highly experienced healthcare professional, he is great with little ones and has a bright personality. Definitely one of our favorite doctors!! It’s a pleasure meeting him every time! :)"
"Dr Jack An, is the best we could have asked for. I had issues finding a Gi to see my 17 year old due to the age. Not even children’s Gi would see her. We were able to see Dr Jack An, he gave us simple options first. Then endoscopy was scheduled in days. Bonus -he has great humor ,total dads jokes. He made the consultation easy for my daughter, she didn’t feel awkward talking about bowl movement (in other words) recommend him 1,000%"

"Hands down, one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever met. Very personable and friendly. He gave a thorough explanation of what would happen during the colonoscopy. His office uses a different company to find the prep meds in order to get you the best price. This worked great for me bc my insurance company refused to pay, but I only ended up paying $60 when it would have been almost $300. Recommend."

"Dr. Eric Hill and his staff are so amazing. Dr. Hill is the one who found my colon cancer and was able to help me through things. That happened in 2020. As of March 2021... I was declared 100% cancer FREE!. Dr. Hill has kept things up in making sure I stay cancer free in that area and takes things very seriously and is very serious about treatments and being proactive to mo itor things and keeping you healthy. He also found the polyps in my dad and has removed them as well. Dr. Hill is the best there is in my book. He takes the time to sit with you and listen to all your concerns. He doesn't make you feel like your on a time limit. Dr. Hill is a very caring and compassionate man. He goes above and beyond in my book. Thank you Dr. Hill. You are totally awesome!!!"

"Dr. Jantz has always been so great! She is very thorough when it comes to her questioning and makes sure she has all the possible information she could need. I have had stomach acid issues in the past and she is the one that diagnosed me and helped my pain significantly. I will always be grateful to her for doing so. And here we are almost a decade later and my stomach has started causing pain again. She has given me samples of medications to try to see if one works better than another. Then she worked me into her schedule for my endoscopy and colonoscopy so that we can nip this all in the rear before the holidays. She is by far one of the best doctors I have been fortunate to find. I have 5 doctors that are phenomenal and she is at the top of those. I 100% recommend Dr. Jantz. She is so amazing at her job and it shows just how much heart she puts into her work. Dr Deepti has a very cool laid back procedure room - it’s like what we see on tv with the music playing and the lights are dimmed. "Love Dr. Padda!!!!I couldn’t eat after falling on pipes and was in severe pain for 2 years and could not eat. I had had pancreatitis twice that I know of maybe more. After he did my colonoscopy the pain is gone. I think and I told another surgeon I thought it was scar tissue causing me to have pain when eating . I also told surgeon I thought my pancreatitis was mechanical in nature but he would not listen. "This was my second visit with Dr. Patel. I have Diverticulosis and was having a bad attack of diverticulitis. I was treated in my local hospital’s ER & kept there to get a CT and a strong antibiotic via IV. I saw Dr. Patel for my follow up. He explained why this attack was different from the last one, 14 years ago. I was not taking care of myself-eating poorly, not exercising, not enough fiber in my diet, etc. All added up to classic reasons when combined lead to diverticulitis. He recommended the changes I needed to make to get better and stay healthy. He was very patient and knowledgeable. That being said, I hope I don’t have to see him before my next colonoscopy in a few years… ;-)"

"Long and detailed-First, I’ve been nursing for 17 years. I’ve worked many places, including a pediatric clinic. I am writing this as a mother who happens to have experience with healthcare. I purposely made my daughter’s appointment just after lunch, and I had all needed items (insurance card, ID, etc) ready. Paperwork was easy and not overly time consuming. We were in the room within 20 mins. I try to be very thorough when explaining issues, and both the nurse/medical assistant and Dr Chan listened and responded compassionately. My biggest praise-my daughter is 15. I nurse at a school of 1-4th grade, and I’m constantly telling people I have to talk to the child as much as possible, not through an adult. Dr Chan politely told me she would be discussing as much as possible with my child, and only asking me the things she couldn’t answer. I could not have smiled harder; in my child’s eyes, her pain and issues were validated by her specialist at that moment. Dr Chan is very thorough and explained a plan of care to me and my child. My 15 year old absolutely hates needles, but with the lab 1 door down we were able to get it over quickly and the phlebotomist was extremely nice. The X-ray was right across the street and took about 30 mins on a walk in appointment! All in all, we had a detailed initial appointment, lab work, and a X-ray in less than 2.5 hrs. I was able to check the portal and since the appointment was on Friday, the X-ray results were added late Monday. The lab results had not been added, but Dr Chan has emailed several times through the portal checking on my child and notifying me of results up to this point. She is polite, patient, and professional. If I worked clinic again, from this side of the room I’d gladly work for her. I will (and have already) recommend her for any pedi GI needs."

She took the time to thoroughly review my history, discuss possible further diagnostic/therapeutic options, and refer me for diagnostic laparoscopy. I have nothing but praise for clinical care which was well worth the hassle of the office phone system that leaves you on hold for ten minutes, then disconnects you. "As it is with most guys, I was nervous about getting my first colonoscopy. Especially since I was getting an Endoscopy at the same time. This is why many men choose not to go. Well, put your mind at ease. The care given by Dr. Chandra's team was top notch. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left (about an hour later), the staff was respectful and courteous. I tried to keep things light-hearted because of my nervousness and they went along with it. I have no doubt that they do all that they can in order to set a tone of calm and relaxation. I did not feel any part of the procedure. None. The information provided after the procedures included multiple copies of the paperwork. This included follow-up instructions, printed photographs, contact numbers for the clinic, medications that were prescribed and self-care steps at home. I had two polyps removed and there was no bleeding afterward, nor was there any pain. In fact, the first thing I wanted to do was eat! The follow-up was completed via FaceTime. I do not know if this is the normal practice or if it was due to living in the time of Covid-19. All of my questions were answered and, if I had more, they were just a phone call away. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the staff here. Men – do yourself a favor and get yourself checked out. This is especially needed for 45+. DO NOT WAIT!!! Ladies, have your husband (or significant other) read this and, hopefully, it will help put them at ease. As this was my first experience with the procedure, I had concerns and questions prior to the appointment. Diana, the Medical Assistant was very helpful in providing material and responding to my questions regarding the preparation for the colonoscopy; I was treated with kindness, respect, and patience in my interactions, and never made to feel ‘dumb’ or bothersome about my concerns. I was pleased with the efficient professionalism of Diana. On the morning of my procedure, I found the waiting area to be clean and comfortable. I was greeted professionally by the receptionist, who was efficient and friendly in handling the necessary paperwork. The nurses who came to the waiting room to call patients back for their procedures were professional, and their demeaner was calming in their interactions with patients and others in the waiting room. When I was called in for my procedure, I was again met with most efficient, professional staff and clean surroundings. Dr. Nayyar took time to answer my questions, explaining the procedure in more detail. When I was sufficiently awake from the anesthesia, I was escorted by the nurse to a covered parking area where my friend had been instructed to park and wait for me. "AMAZING DOCTOR! Dr. Padda was called from McKinney ER about my father. Without ever seeing my dad, he took one look at this labs, his deteriorating condition, and his list of meds and saved my dad's life by telling the ER doctor that the condition is being caused by the side effect of his blood pressure medication (Olmesartan) which caused extreme, chronic diarrhea, loss of 25 lbs in 10 weeks and severe dehydration. He stopped the pill and is almost completely back to normal 4 days later. He just has to regain his weight. THANK YOU DR. PADDA!!! None of the doctors we saw previously had any idea why my dad became so sick so suddenly, until Dr. Padda! We will be forever grateful for his knowledge and expertise. "I have been coming to see Dr. Masand since 2016??? And he is an AMAZING gastroenterologist. My last GI doctor dismissed me claiming I was "too young" even though I have a family history of GI issues. When I came to see Dr. Masand he listened to my concerns and explored every avenue eventually discovering my gallbladder needed to be removed. As for the staff there, they seem to have a high turnover rate from what I've seen but Dr. Masand's nurse is super sweet. The reception isn't the greatest but I will overlook it because of the doctors. I've never had an issue money wise because they take both of my insurances and I don't receive a bill."

"Dr Ravi was great and unfortunately I had to meet him while hospitalized due a bad reaction to chemo for pancreatic cancer. Dr. Ravi's bedside manner and care he provided myself comfort but also my family that was definitely needed at the time. As a cancer patient, I speak and meet with many doctors and being in the hospital for the 1st time ever, I was feeling awful to be admitted for a week and Dr. Ravi came a saw me everyday and encouraged me to do the things that I could to get better and get released. "I haven't used Dr Ravi for anything except for Colonoscopies, but all 3 have gone well. He discovered stage 3 canceruos polyps on the first procedure and was able to remove most of them. A 2nd procedure was required a week later to get the rest of them. I did require surgery to remove a portion my colon, but that was my fault for waiting too long to have my first procedure. I just had my 1-year follow-up colonoscopy and everything came out fine. Dr. Ravi has surgical access too many different hospitals so it makes it easier to schedule a procedure when needed."

"I had my first colon screening last Friday, 6-28-19 with Dr. Snowberger at Old Town Endoscopy. Not knowing what expect, I must say the prep was not pleasant, but it's not supposed to be - all things considered. Dr. Snowberger and her staff were not only nice; they were KIND. There is a difference. Her lady at the office called me the day before and walked me through some concerns I had. Once at the facility, no one rushed me, each person explained their role and what I was going to go through with them during my visit. Dr. Snowberger came highly recommended by my Gyno Nurse, Melissa Lang and I'm so glad I took her advice. The pace was steady and over with faster than I thought it would be. I kept expecting discomfort after I left but it never happened. It all went so smooth. I was nauseous when I arrived but it went away once things got started and it never came back. It's still a bit of a mystery to me how well it went and how great I felt (and feel now) since it was done. "The best way to state how I feel about Dr. Odstrcil is to use the words of my very NON-dramatic husband, "Dr. Odstrcil literally saved your life." I had a very active case of pan-colitis which required me to receive blood transfusions every other week, and drop 80+ pounds. There was some improvement by the time I went to see Dr. Odstrcil for a second opinion; however, from the very first visit she would not be satisfied until I was in complete remission. "After 20+ years of progressively worsening problems with swallowing and keeping food/drink down (what was misdiagnosed as acid reflux), I was referred to Dr. Kedia who confirmed after tests that I had achalasia, not acid reflux. Three months ago, Dr. Kedia performed the peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) procedure. In my appointment prior to surgery, I asked a lot of detailed questions about the POEM procedure, potential side-effects, downside, etc. Dr. Kedia very patiently explained the process and showed videos and answered every question. Post-surgery, he also provided a complete, down to the smallest detail, step-by-step, written account of my procedure. It is no exaggeration to say this has been a life changing event. "This past Monday (8/21/17) Dr. Mark Murray performed a colonoscopy on me at the THR Alliance Surgery Center. The procedure was seamless. The Doctor and staff was professional, warm, reassuring and absolutely wonderful. The next day I received a followup call from his office wanting to know how I was feeling and if I had questions about the procedure (This was also reassuring.). I had a few questions about the discomfort I was feeling. All questions were answered promptly and I was advised the discomfort should be gone by the next day, but if not, I was to call Dr. Murray if I was still experiencing the discomfort. The next day...I felt fine. I give 5 Stars and kudos to Doctor Murray and his staff and Highly recommend this Doctor and his staff at the THR Alliance Surgery Center."
"Dr Weisberg has done an excellent job over the last two years managing my acid reflux and issues related to colon polyps. Recently Dr. W. suspected an unrelated issue related to a possible pulmonary embolism. I took his advice had a CT scan immediately and he was right. Thanks Dr. Weisberg for going above and beyond to detect this issue and for providing the appropriate guidance even though it was outside of you area of focus."

"I am giving Doctor Alvarez 5 stars because she seems to be a caring doctor that truly wants what's best for her patients. However, the office staff, specifically the woman that works at the front desk was extremely rude (not the lady with the grey hair and glasses, she was nice) to an elderly woman that had been sitting in the office, waiting for an hour and a half. When the elderly lady asked her how much longer, the woman scoffed at her and told her in a very condisending tone that they had to get a room for her. At this point, I get up from my chair to speak to the nice lady, and the rude lady interjects into the conversation with an attitude the size of Texas, 'I already told her we are waiting for a room'. I am appaled at the lack of caring or empathy this woman showed to someone 40 years older than her. Pathetic. Please teach your office staff to respect their elders."

"Dr. Padda is a phenomenal doctor. He cares about the patient and goes above and beyond to take the time needed with the patient to explain things on a level of understanding and will sit with the patient and listen to concerns until every question is answered. Dr. Padda is thorough and knowledgeable about his field of study and cares about the patient and not just the condition/illness. Dr. Padda I would recommend above all others for any GI problems that you may need to be seen about. His staff in the office are very nice and compassionate as well. Dr. Padda is professional and compassionate and by far the best! As a RN/CMSRN in the field patients have the best outcomes and cared for above all! I would always recommend Dr. Padda, being a patient and part of the medical team caring for patients!"
