"Professionally I’m very satisfied with Dr Shah—professionally and on a personal level. However, i think her staff can improve communication skills. I was tikd her assustsnt would call me to schedule my procedure, but when I hadn't received a call a week later I called the office and left a message which turned into three calls. I was told i would receive a call when Dr Shah’s assistant got to May appointments, which was an additional week or two later. It would have saved me and the offuce time if they had just said to not expect a call for 2-3 weeks. Even better would be to schedule the procedure the same day the procedure was ordered."

"My first visit with Jessica Shah was a refreshing change from other doctors I have seen in the past. She is personable, takes her time to make sure your questions are answered and has a genuine presence about her. I have only seen her once but I look forward to working with her to tackle my health concerns. There was a bit of a wait to be seen at the practice but I believe this is true for any office these days, and given that Dr. Shah was thorough with my visit, she must give this attention to each patient. I’d rather wait for a quality doctor than be seen on time by a doctor who rushes my appointment. The front desk staff at the Bedford location was inviting and helpful with the initial check in, but the individual who checked me out after my appointment was a bit brash and seemed annoyed by my questions regarding how I needed to schedule imaging services requested by my doctor. When I was unable to get an imaging service done the day of, due to miscommunication, I called back to rescheduled and the same individual seemed even more annoyed that I didn’t get the procedure done the day before. Who knows, maybe they were having a rough week. Eventually, after a few more calls I was able to get everything scheduled. Apart from their scheduling system when being referred to an outside company for additional procedures and one individual who was a little grumpy, I’m happy with this location and GI Alliance. Dr. Shah is wonderful and I’m glad to have found her practice."

"My initial interaction with the front desk was not that great, but it turns out, the technician is new and focused on learning the system and processes. I thought it would be tell of the overall care, but I was completely wrong. Another technician took over for the new lady and she was very friendly. Even the tech who took me to the back and took my vitals was warm and kind. Then came Dr. Shah. She was patient, warm, and answered all of my questions. I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line. Dr Shah said she's going to take great care of me, and I believe her! *UPDATE* My colonoscopy was quick (30 minutes) and smooth. Dr. Shah talked with me directly afterward. Staff provided great details on all aftercare needed. I even had a follow-up visit which was just as easy. I cannot recommend this facility and Dr. Shah and staff enough!"

"It was 15 yrs ago when my mom decided not to get a colonoscooy when my dad made an appt for his. A year later she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She survived but knew she wouldn't have had to endure so much pain and heartache if she had went with my dad. That time was so traumatic and I know getting a colonscopy is the most intelligent choice to make. I met Dr. Shah for a consultation and I'm confident that she is the right doctor for me. She took time to answer all my questions and explained in detail the instructions on getting prepared the day before .
