Digestive Health Management, L.L.P. (DHM), the management company for Digestive Health Associates of Texas P.A. (DHAT), is responsible for the staffing, billing and collections, managed care contracting, credentialing, as well as handling the administrative and operational oversight for all DHAT practice locations.

Full-Time employees and their legal dependents. Legal dependents include the employee’s legal spouse, domestic partner, natural and adopted children, stepchildren, children of a domestic partner, and any other children the employee supports and for whom they are the legal guardian, or for whom the employee is required to provide coverage as the result of a qualified medical child support order. Eligible children may be enrolled in benefits up to age twenty-six

Participants in the CDHP pay the full cost of services, including prescription coverage, until they reach their deductible, then 20% coinsurance until they reach their annual out-of-pocket maximum. The dollars in their Health Savings Account (HSA) can be used to pay for eligible expenses.

If you select the Consumer Driven Health Plan, you may set money aside on a tax-free basis to pay for eligible medical, dental, as well as vision expenses, up to the maximum annual contribution set by the IRS. For 2020, those maximums are $3,550 for Employee Only coverage, or $7,100 for Family coverage (this includes Employee and Employer contributions to the Plan). DHAT makes an Employer contribution to the employee’s HSA on a quarterly basis as follows:

For purposes of salary deferral contributions as well as ROTH deferral contributions, you may become a participant on the first day of the month coinciding with or following completion of sixty (60) days of continuous service and your 18th birthday.
DHAT will make a matching contribution on an annual basis equal to 100% of the first 3% of your pre-tax or ROTH salary deferral contributions, plus 50% of the next 2% of your pre-tax or ROTH salary deferral contributions up to a maximum of 5% of your salary. Employees are always 100% vested in Employee contributions, Employer Safe Harbor Match contributions, Rollovers, and any earnings on these contributions.
DHAT may choose to make an additional annual non-elective contribution. If so, the Employer’s contribution will be allocated among the accounts of all eligible participants. Employees become fully vested on non-elective Employer contributions after three (3) years of service (one year of service equals 1,000 hours).
Paid Time Off is available to Regular Full-Time employees. Eligibility and PTO Plans may vary for Staff, Directors, Mid-Level Providers, and Physicians.
Illness Paid Time Off is available to Regular Full-Time employees. You will begin accruing illness paid time off on the first day of the month coinciding with or following completion of sixty (60) continuous days of employment.
Floating Holiday Paid Time Off is available to Regular Full-Time employees. You will receive one (1) floating holiday per calendar year. The floating holiday must be used within the calendar year in which it was granted; and a new one is granted on January 1st of each year, to eligible employees.
