I chose to be a pediatric gastroenterologist first and foremost to help kids. In nearly all instances, pediatric patients can’t help that they get a belly ache, develop vomiting, diarrhea, constipation or even unintentional weight loss. Whether constant or intermittent, the signs and symptoms GI distress are real, affect a child’s quality of life and can contribute to family stress and worry. I am here to help. I will advocate for your child’s GI needs to keep them happy, healthy and smiling.
My approach to patient care is patient and family “centric”. I spend time and listen to my family’s concerns. Sometimes the answer to what is going on is in the medical history alone, and other times, an evaluation may be needed. I look at myself as a member of your child’s healthcare team. Any good team has excellent communication, which is something I strive for. While under my care, I will be there to help answer questions and advocate for your child’s GI health.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active and participating in outdoor activities.

Dr. Keith was amazing! He diagnosed our daughter and her belly is feeling so much better. My wife had an incredible experience in the office.
Dr. Keith has been FANTASTIC to work with in getting to the root cause of my son's gastrointestinal issues. He had issues from a young age & every since then we have been very nervous about dealing with gastro issues.
Dr. Keith does a great job making sure he explains everything entirely, as well as works tirelessly to get to the root of the issue! He and his staff have been wonderful to work with! We are thankful we found him!

Necesito respuesta mi bebe tomo enfamil de la amarilla hasta los 5 meses , luego empezo con ronchas en la cara y haciendo popo varias veces al dia , 5 veces le cambiaron su formula a una que se llama puramino pense que con eso ya no le iban a salir ronchas porque salio alergico a la leche de vaca , pensé que con la nueva formula ya no le iban hacer ronchas y hace popo muchas veces pero sigue igual el tiene 5 meses no se que hacer necesit??? o ayuda que formula ( leche ) le puedo dar
We love Dr Keith! My 3.5 year old suffered from chronic constipation for over a year. It was awful to watch her struggle after not having a BM for several days. We tried a GI that our Pedi recommended. Horrible experience. I found Dr Keith through insurance, and meeting Dr Keith changed our lives! Dr Keith knew exactly what to do. He explained everything in detail and that helped me understand the “why” behind her constipation. He had excellent bedside manner. His initial goal was to connect with my daughter because “she” is the patient. He did this so she would slowly trust him. It worked. He included her in our plan of care and held her accountable. She absolutely LOVES him! Every time we go to PSA McKinney, she yells out “there’s Dr Keef’s” as we pass by his office building lol. We’re sad that we’ve graduated from his care because we’ll miss seeing him. But the fact that my daughter is now potty trained AND has a BM in the potty DAILY without the help of medications…. Is truly amazing. We owe it all to Dr Keith! Bring your child to see him. You will not regret it.
Dr. Keith and his assistant, Stacey, are absolutely wonderful! My daughter was suffering from severe stomach pain, and when we visited Dr. Keith, he immediately took action to find the cause. He was incredibly thorough, addressing all concerns right away and keeping me informed throughout the entire process. During her hospitalization he provided regular updates, patiently answered all my questions, and explained every step in detail.

Dr. Keith and his team are incredible! I could not ask for better care for my son. My son was recently hospitalized and Dr. Keith spent countless hours making sure he was receiving the best treatments possible. It is very comforting to know that we have a doctor that truly cares.
We started seeing Dr Keith about a year ago, because my son refused to potty train and was scared to go #2 in his diaper or on the potty. A year later and here we are, my son is potty trained and no longer scared to have bowel movements!!! It's been a long year, but we couldn't have done it without the help of Dr. Keith and his staff!
Dr. Keith has treated me for 9 months now and has nearly fully resolved my issues with my irritable bowl syndrome I would definitely recommend his practice to anyone suffering bowl issues.

Dr. Keith has seen two of my children, 1 for GI related issues and the other for feeding/weight gain issues. Dr. Keith takes his time listening to all our concerns and never rushes us out. He talks to our children and explains the importance of their GI health in a way they can easily understand. He provides us with a variety of options to assist in getting them the help they need and has been absolutely wonderful. Although he is based out of Plano, he visits us up north in Sherman, Tx so we don't have the long commute. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatric GI doctor.
Dr Brent is fantastic! He cares for the kids and parents. He is highly knowledgeable and experienced. We had a wonderful experience both from the staff and the doctor.
We love that Dr Keith thoroughly read up on our daughter’s Hx and recommended further investigations for precautionary tests to avoid another surgery for Rachael. Thank you Dr Keith, for looking out for us!
My husband and I LOVE Dr. Keith at DHAT! We came to him when our son was 2 months old and was not gaining weight at the rate he should be due to some reflux issues and other digestive issues. He was not even on the curve when we started going to Dr. Keith but now is almost in the 50th percentile at almost 8 months old! We were struggling so much in the beginning and were at a complete loss on how to help our child until we started going here and see such a change in him now that we are on a formula that works for him and that he got us some feeding therapy as well in the beginning. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Keith. He did everything he could to help get our child on track and I don’t know where we would be right now without him.
Dr Keith is the best pediatric specialist I have ever come across. He is very very good at what he does- extremely knowledgeable and professional, and FANTASTIC with kids. My 4 year old absolutely loves him.
We love Dr Keith and all of his staff! We have been seeing him since our baby was 3 months old and she is 21 months now. He has been following her for CMPA and SPA and has been exceptional. He always answers all of our questions, never makes us feel rushed and is so kind and caring. It’s also easy to schedule appointments with him without waiting months to get in. This last visit he literally sat on the floor with our daughter so she would feel comfortable while he checked her. We are so happy we found him! Highly recommend, don’t look any further!
I am really late writing this review, but I cannot say enough good things about Dr Keith. He does not hustle you through appointments. He really takes time to listen to what my son is telling him and asks a lot of questions. We had to go to the ER one night because my son was having intense pain. Dr Keith met us there and stayed until the wee hours of the night to make sure my son was stabilized. He is very good at what he does.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Keith and his staff! Dr. Keith is so thorough and asks tons of questions to tunderstand the root cause of the issue. He truly listens instead of talking over you and he is so wonderful with our daughter. He made her feel right at ease. And the the staff are just as great! Office is well run, no long wait times and they are so friendly.
